During his time at Hill ‘n’ Dale, the stallion and sales operations have grown to become industry leaders. Donato is also one of the industry’s finest judges of young horses and has purchased two Grade 1 winners and a champion during his career. He is also one of the premier pinhookers in the business. In 2006, a group of yearlings that had been purchased by Donato as weanlings brought the highest overall rate of return upon resale. Andrew Cary, Sales Director acary@hillndalefarms.com A native of Zimbabwe and graduate of the University of Colorado-Boulder, Andrew was previously the Assistant Director of Public Sales and Pedigree Research Director at Taylor Made Farm and a writer for the Thoroughbred Times.
