Candy Ride's runners have had continued success this spring, with stakes performances in races such as the [G2] Senorita S. (Candelijas, 2nd), Queenstown S. (El Brujo, 1st) and the [G1] Santa Anita Derby (Chocolate Candy, 2nd).
On January 17, Candy Ride had a huge day with his first crop runners beginning their three year old campaigns on the turf, and main track, short and long. CHOCOLATE CANDY took the California Derby at Golden Gate on his road to the Triple Crown, JACK SPRATT won the Dania Beach on the turf at Gulfstream Park and EVITA ARGENTINA finished a fast closing 2nd in the G 2 Santa Ynez at Santa Anita.
Candy Ride ended the month of January with a flourish with MSW CAPT. CANDYMAN CAN scoring easily from off the pace in the Hutcheson Stakes (G2)
